The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Committee for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics has wrapped up it's second visit to the city in the north east of South Korea and given the thumbs up on progress being made towards staging the massive event.

Major milestones singled out were the launch of the emblem for the games and finalising the venue master plan. With all the locations for the sports venues sorted, work is moving into the design phase to ensure completion before site testing. Looking ahead, the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Organising Committee is gearing up to start their culture and education programs, marketing and pushing out construction tenders. Looks like PyeongChange 2018 is well on the way!
