On Tuesday the Korean Tourism Organisation unveiled its new tourism slogan and campaign aimed at attracting more foreign travellers to Korea. The Imagine Your Korea slogan was chosen from 9,000 entries received through a public contest last year.

Just when you thought you have seen it all, along comes something to add to the christmas stocking list.. This old school yellow split screen Kombi  can climb ski pistes in style, transport you to your favourite back country drop and pull cars out of snow drifts. More importantly it can pull up anywhere on the mountain, raise its roof, DJ turntables magically appear and start pumping a mini dance party to put a groove in everyone's day.  I could see a vehicle like this becoming Korea-snow.com's winter staff car...

Well respected ski/snow journalist, Rob Stewart Ski Press gave us a mention today in the Daily Mail UK. His article outlined the places that people from UK/Europe might be skiing in the next ten years. We hope to see Rob in Korea for ski slope action, Korean hospitality and Apres Korean BBQ hopefully sooner than ten years.

Koreans have just finished celebrating their equivalent of thanksgiving, Chuseok. In Korea there are three widely celebrated holidays, these are Lunar New Year, Dano, and Chuseok. Chuseok, also know as Hangawai, falls on a day in conjunction with the lunar calendar, and is regarded as the Koreas’ most significant celebration.
