Eden Valley Resort is the most southerly ski resort in Korea and the only one in Gyeongsang Province. Located in Yangsan, Eden Valley is about a 45 minute drive from Korea’s second largest city, Busan and is a great ski resort destination for residents of this region. Situated high on Sinbulsan Mountain, Eden Valley Resort caters for skiers and boarders in the winter and golfers in the summer.
There are a total of 7 slopes ranging in length from 450m to 1.5km and with varying levels of difficulty. Three lifts take you to different starting points for each slope that wind gently down the mountain and come together at the base. The resort also offers tube sledding and sleigh rides. At the base of the mountain there is a ski house with all the usual amenities including equipment rental, eateries and a convenience store. Other resort facilities include lounges, a bar, billiards room and games arcade. There is also on resort condominium style accommodation.
The resort is smaller than others in the south and central region, but the location of Eden Valley Resort means it is a great day or weekend option for locals and for that reason the resort can also get very busy. Unless you are up for an adventure from Seoul, this is really one to visit if you are in the south of Korea and feel like a day on the mountain.
